近年来,市教育体育局在市委,市政府的正确领导下,全面贯彻党的教育方针,全面实施素质教育,遵循教育规律和人才发展规律,加快城乡义务教育一体化,均衡合理分配教育资源,努力提高办学水平和教育质量,促进义务教育高质量均衡发展。

一、城乡义务教育概况

目前,我市共有95所义务教育学校。其中,初中21所,小学74所。城市地区31个,农村地区64个。全市初中生31979人,小学生61179人;义务教育阶段共有6551名教师。 2014年,我市通过了教育部组织的“全国义务教育发展基本平衡县(市)”验收。全市所有初中和小学均达到山东标准化学校的要求,所有学校均通过了“青岛现代学校”的验收。目前,正在推动在青岛建立新一轮的高级现代学校。

二、主要工作措施和成果

(一)加快城乡中小学的融合。

(四)城乡义务教育经费的综合投入。

(七)有效解决城市中小学班级大的问题

三、城乡义务教育面临的问题
